Ok, i have to admit the i was never the biggest Andy Irons fan before. But i am a big fan of Awesome, and Andy was that. For sure. i am not a great surfer, but i might eat certain amounts of ___ to even be close to half as good as Andy was. (You guys know what i mean. if you don't, then never mind.) Seriously though, Andy had heart that only a few people will ever have. I cannot imagine the level of intensity he put in his surfing and in competition. These are the kinds of people that we want to look up to. They set the standards for greatness, and inspire people to push themselves to spots they don't even want to be in. For them, it's about doing what is needed, and being your best at the right time. Anyone can be good at something, but being able to step up under pressure is what makes greatness. Cheers to you Andy, you will keep on inspiring.

Saw this on the homepage of yahoo one morning when i got to work. i didn't know whether to be happy or to throw up.

It's nice to see that a lot of other people out there share my hating on raisins. on the other hand, i don't want to look at a bunch of raisins when i start my day. who needs those bad vibes early in the morning?

So everyone out there with the same dislike for these useless little fruits with no taste, keep raisin the roof, and keep hatin'.

That 15 flicks thing from fezbook.

I saw that 15 flicks thing on facebook and thought it would be interesting. I just didnt feel like i had to share it with everyone. This one goes out to the fans of Dangerboy and the robot.

1. Royal Tenenbaums - It had a sort of cold humor to it. The characters were really well developed, the cinematography was awesome shit,aaaand the suicide scene was cool.

2. Lords of Dogtown - Where do I start with this noisy ass movie.? First of all, the soundtrack...bad ass. The whole movie had that desaturated look, which brought a lot of steez. I think it should be one of those educational movies that they show in high school..or college. Or whatever.

3. Superbad - hahaha. McLovin.

4. Lock, Stock, and two Smoking Barrels - Drugs, violence, comedy, and another awesome soundtrack. Props to Guy for this one.

5. Snatch - I liked that part in the intro when the shot freezes on the gun and then it says "Directed by Guy Ritchie." Fight scenes were good too.

6. A Broke Down Melody - One of the only surf films that had a big part of it shot in Jamaica. So steady.

7. Lost in translation - I wish I was the cinematographer of this one. The characters did not have to say much but you totally feel what they were going through. Aaaand I want to go to Japan. Oh, and Just Like Honey.

8. Smokin Aces - Easy viewing. Shit load of violence and filled with famous cool dudes. Haha.

9. Reservoir Dogs - Just watch it. :)

10. Black Hawk Down - Dude.. war movie.

11. 28 Weeks Later - Zombies, snipers, heavy gun fire, and a catchy song.

12. Stranger Than Fiction - The whole concept was realllly good. Seeing Will Ferrell all serious n shit was also fun, he was still awesome. The part where he was playing Whole Wide World was cool too.

13. Dazed and Confused - I'm gona be honest with you ladies and gents, this movie was one of the main reasons I started smoking marijuana. Yup.

14. Mallrats - This movie actually really made me want to hang out in a mall. Like really hang out, the whole day. Weird.

15. Pulp Fiction - I dont think I'm really worthy of giving my opinions about this movie. It's too good.

I don't think I would be so good at writing movie reviews. I just say they're badass or awesome or noisy or easily get influenced into doing bad shit like smoking jhoots. Anyway, this was pretty fun. See you around cool dudes! Thank you and goodnight.
